Question 1

Do you work with small orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Small orders are welcome. You do not need container-level volume to work with SourcedFromChina.

Question 2

How is the sourcing commission calculated?

Accepted Answer

The sourcing commission ranges from 5% to 12% of the supplier's product invoice value (EXW/FOB), excluding freight, duty and VAT. The exact rate depends on project scope and complexity, and minimum fee rules still apply as listed on the pricing page.

Question 3

What is your payment flow?

Accepted Answer

Commission is charged per order (between 5% and 12% based on scope and complexity) and becomes due when you confirm the order and place the factory deposit.

Question 4

How long does sourcing or inspection take?

Accepted Answer

Timelines depend on product complexity, supplier responsiveness, production schedule and shipping mode. We provide realistic timelines after intake.

Question 5

Which regions in China do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We operate across South, East and North China through regional logistics partners and on-ground coordination.

Question 6

Can you help with regulated products?

Accepted Answer

Some products need South African approvals before import, such as NRCS (electrical goods, vehicle parts), ICASA (wireless and radio devices) and SAHPRA (medical products). We'll flag these early. We do not source counterfeit or prohibited goods.

Question 7

How do your inspections work?

Accepted Answer

We align on your product spec and acceptance criteria, perform on-site checks, document findings with photos/video and provide a clear pass/hold recommendation before shipment release.
